Help to Leprosy Patients
On 09.02.2015, as part of the 180th Birthday celebrations of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the Rajahmundry Branch of Ramakrishna Mission served about 120 Leprosy patients and 96 Gowthami Jeeva Karunya Sangham Old age home inmates. Items meeting their daily requirements were distributed to them.Two steel carriers for them store their food, one bed sheet, B-complex Tablets and Nutrition supplement food packets were distributed. They were affectionately addressed and advised to take good care of health and motivated them to try to become self sufficient and earn their own livelihood.
On the Tithi puja day, on 20.02.2015,the 96 Inmates of Gowthami Jeeva Karunya Sangham Old Age Home were supplied with Horlicks (1/2 kg packets), Nutrtion powder packets. Sweets were also distributed to them.
New Welfare Schemes
In connection with the 150th birth anniversary celebrations, new welfare schemes are taken up by us.
1.Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa:
In connection with the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivvekananda, the Ramakrishna Mission Head Quarters has started an integrated Child Development Scheme in the name Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa throughout India.
The Ramakrishna Mission Rajahmundry Centre has brought the Bhavi Bharatam scheme under Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa and started three more units in different places. These three units are managed by respective Ramakrishna Samithies in Bapatla, Pedabrahmadevam, and Donkada. This project aims at the all round physical, mental and intellectual development of children in poor and backward areas. It is a Central Government funded project (through the Ramakrishna Mission Head Quarters) each unit having 100 poor children up to 12 years of age.
2. Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa:
Similar to Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa, another scheme in the name Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa also started by Head Quarters to help pregnant women, lactating mothers and children by providing nutritious food and medical care.
The Ramakrishna Mission Rajahmundry Centre has undertaken one Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa at Rampachodavaram, which aims at the Holistic Development, particularly preventing and treating malnutrition in back ward areas, so that they may grow into healthy and productive members of society and become enlightened citizens of India. It is a Central Government funded Project (through the Ramakrishna Mission Head Quarters) having 106 poor children up to 12 years of age and 5 Pregnant woman and 6 Lactating Mot
Godavari Pushkaram Service Activities 2015
We are happy to inform you that Godavari Mahapushkaram Celebration went on well and there was following activities:
i) Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita Parayana (Reading of Kathamrita by monks and devotees).
ii) Prayer, Pooja, Namaarchana, Bhajans.

The celebration was very successful by the grace of Holy Trio and with the cooperation of brother monks from different branch centers of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission and private ashramas besides the generous donations of devotees and voluntary assistance from various Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samithis, Colleges and Schools in Andhra Pradesh.
